In 2018, approximately 10,000 tons of gravel were placed on Lower Clear Creek (to benefit steelhead, spring-run Chinook and fall-run Chinook) despite Carr Fire activity (the 200,000-acre-plus fire that burned on the west side of Redding; approximately 50% of the lower Clear Creek watershed experienced fire). © U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
