Merced River Restoration VII

Restoration Stories

The Robinson reach phase of the Merced River Salmon Habitat Enhancement Project scaled the channel to fit the post-dam flow regime, which favored salmonid species. Over the entire reach, the channel was reshaped to include spawning riffles, runs, and pools, which provides spawning and rearing habitat for salmon and other native species. © USFWS
