The lower portion of Mill Creek is managed to provide salmon passage flows at critical times by the Mill Creek Management Committee in accordance with the Agreement for Implementation of a Long Term Management Plan. Passage flows are occasioned by “flow calls“ made by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife with instream flow provided by the Los Molinos Mutual Water Company. Flows include pulse flows to support in migration of adult spring-run chinook as well as out-migration of smolts in the spring and early summer and continuous flows to support in migration of fall-run Chinook and steelhead in the fall. © Mill Creek Conservancy
