In 2015, a water exchange agreement was made between the Los Molinos Mutual Water Company (LMMWC) and The Nature Conservancy. The exchange will permit TNC water to be used for irrigation from July 1 to October 15 with a balancing amount of LMMWC water provided for increased flows for salmon and steelhead passage in the spring and fall to be coordinated with flow calls made by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. © Doug Killam, California Department of Fish and Wildlife
