Spawning gravel has been added to improve spawning areas in a ten-mile reach downstream from Camanche Dam to Elliot Road to increase suitable spawning habitat for fall-run Chinook salmon and steelhead in 1998-2000, 2002-2003, and 2006. Project partners include East Bay Municipal Utility District, US Fish and Wildlife Service, California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Learn More © USFWS
