Redwood Creek Coho Stream Habitat Enhancement Project, FRGP Grant #P1410504. The project was completed in 2018 and included the installation of 122 pieces of large wood at 37 features. The simple two log structure, with help of high sustained winter flows, changed transformed what was a shallow riffle/run reach into a deep plunge pool. The structure slowed the stream flow and aggraded smaller sediment upstream. © California Dept. of Fish & Wildlife
