Streelow Creek is a prominent tributary to Prairie Creek which, like Lost Man Creek, is a major refugium for threatened coho and chinook salmon. This site was identified as being a barrier to fish passage. Heavy equipment is used for excavation and reconfiguring the channel. Channel redesign is completed and adjacent areas of bare soil are covered with mulch. © Redwood National Park Watershed Restoration Staff
