Russian River Restoration III

Restoration Stories

Video of wild spawn coho salmon on Willow Creek, a tributary to the Russian River near Jenner. These fish are believed to be the first wild spawn coho salmon in Willow Creek since the 1990s. The culvert crossing was replaced with a bridge allowing upstream adult fish passage. Work was completed in October 2011. © California Department of Fish and Wildlife scientist, Derek Acomb, for Russian River Coho Monitoring Program August 2013
